Yesterday was Father’s Day. I didn’t get much of a chance to celebrate it with my family this year due to the church camp season. I’m at camp right now with my son, Titus, and a few other boys from our church.
I stumbled across this video over the weekend. It’s good enough to share here. Enjoy!
As a father of five, with another due around the first of the year, this is amusingly accurate. I can’t even begin to imagine all the things I’ve missed out on because my finances and resources went to family events or clothes or dental work or camp tuitions or… And you know what? I really don’t care what I may have missed. I have an incredible family.

We pretty much hung out at home all day. My wife had taken our 21 month old son to the store last week to pick out a gift and the one thing he picked up and put in the cart while they walked around was a football given to me in a giant toy story bag with a card that had a talking parot in it. We didn’t do too much because my wife is 38 weeks along and tomorrow will be having a csection for our second child!

We loved the dad life video – and shared it a ton about 2 years ago. Still hilarious.
We had a nice relaxing Sunday full of what we normally do – it was great. I love spending time with the family and enjoyed a relatively calm day (3.5 yr old and 1.5 yr old).
