I’ve never been that productive in one, unless I simply go in with a book, and if they aren’t too busy, like the coffee shop I occasionally visit in the next town over. My problem with that location is that the shop is usually so empty, the owner ends up talking with me too much…

Lost In A Labyrinth Of Books – This. Is. Awesome. I would love getting lost in such a place.

How To Read More – Since we seem to be on the topic of books and reading today, here’s a brief article on how to read more, and to retain it. There are some great suggestions here. Some of them, such as audio books, aren’t really that effective for me. I tend to get too distracted when listening and not reading. But I know others who love them.

Jesus Is Wisdom – Have you ever noticed just how much Jesus shines through in the book of Proverbs? I’ve seen his fingerprints through those pages many times. This is a great post describing how Jesus is wisdom.

I found this to be absurd. Marsh’s biography failed to accurately assess Bonhoeffer’s life and times. This article offers some great insight into that thought, and you can read my review here.

Talking To Your Kids About Sex – “The Talk” is something that most parents dread. But it is something we must be intentional about with our kids, or else they will learn about it from other sources. That could end badly. Here are eight tips for making that discussion, and the continuing discussions, the best they can be.
