I love books, and I love to read. That love has led to a love for books themselves, and the processes it takes to create one. This video explains how the earliest of printing presses, the Gutenberg Press, works.

The book of Proverbs is one of the most practical books in the Bible, and one of the most interesting to read. In this overview video, you can see how it all flows together and the benefits it holds for you and me.

Another of my favorite places in Colorado is Rocky Mountain National Park. This park has beauty like few other places, and you can experience the views and vistas that the Rocky Mountains have to offer from just about every vantage point. It is truly a stunning place to visit.

Colorado is one of my favorite places on earth, especially in the fall. This video by Sun Gallery Photography showcases the aspens and other fall foliage in the Aspen, Colorado area. It’s ten minutes of gallery worthy photography. This is one of the reasons why I go to the mountains outside of Colorado Springs each fall.

CIY Wilderness

This week will be a slower week around JeffRandleman.com. I am headed to Bear Trap Ranch, outside of Colorado Springs for CIY Wilderness. I’m looking forward to the week in the mountains, and the renewal that will happen in my spirit. Since I’ll be out of the normal routine, and halfway across the continent, things will be a bit different. I have scheduled a few video posts for throughout the week, some of them showcasing the vivid fall colors of Colorado during this time of year.

Also, there will be a couple of different videos in place of the Scripture Memory post, and Monday’s Coffee Break. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Normal activity (whatever that looks like) will resume next week.

Keep me in your prayers for the week, as I seek to listen closely to God and refresh my spirit. Pray that I return renewed and ready to tackle the challenges of ministry for the coming months.

Reviewing The Month On JeffRandleman.com

Fall is in the air. The temperatures are dropping, and so are the leaves. And I’m ready for it. I enjoy summer, but autumn is my favorite season, especially when I can see the aspen trees in Colorado turning yellow. And that is where I am right now.

With fall comes a bit of a slower season for me. Summer activities are winding down, and we will have a couple of months of lighter activities for a change. Our big activities for church have all happened, and football season is almost over, and so I will have the chance to focus on a few things with a bit more focus.

One such item is my preaching schedule for the coming year. This month will hold a couple of days where I get away and pray over Scripture, seeking God’s leading on where we need to go in the coming months. I already have been laying out some plans and ideas, but will earnestly seek God’s leading and confirmation on those in the coming days.

Another area of focus will be catching up on some reading and writing during October and November. I am headed to Colorado this week for several days, and I have a half dozen books with me in the van. I plan on finding a nice spot to hang the hammock and sit and read for a while. This will also allow my time to focus more on this blog and get back up to speed. That is something I really need to take the time to do, and it will happen this fall.

I’m looking forward to seeing what the coming weeks hold. In the meantime, I’m watching to see what else God may be holding in store for my family and me this year.
