Top Posts For December 2014

It is hard to believe that 2014 has ended. The year went by too quickly, and it seems as if I didn’t have enough time to get everything finished that I wanted to accomplish.

Even though it seems to have flown by, 2014, and the month of December specifically, have given us many things to be thankful for. Our family Christmas was relaxing and enjoyable, and we simply stayed home and enjoyed our time together.

The season was pretty busy with holiday events at our church, from late October through the end of the year. Hopefully, January will be a little slower so we can catch our breath a little. It doesn’t look like that will be the case though, with our seventh child due in February, and a search for a couple of new staff members at our church

Life simply gets crazy sometimes.

In the meantime, here are the top posts for the month of December:

  1. How To Take Notes While Reading The Bible
  2. 6 Characteristics Of A Good Communicator
  3. Our Tradition: Christmas Eve Candle Light Service
  4. The Difference Between Purpose, Vision, and Mission
  5. Trying A New Bible Reading System
  6. Why You Need To Develop A Philosophy Of Ministry
  7. Why A Daughter Needs A Dad

Just like last month, many of these are from my two most popular series: the series on communication and the Foundations Of Youth Ministry series. However, since it is the Christmas season, my post from a few years ago on one of our family traditions made the list as well.

Also, in case you missed them, here are my seven most recent posts, not including the Coffee Break posts, or the series on memorizing Titus.

  1. 2015 Bible Reading Plans – Resources
  2. Responding To Criticism – Personal Growth
  3. Book Review: Grappling With The Chronology Of The Genesis Flood – Reviews
  4. New Every Morning – Bible
  5. Making The Perfect Cup Of Coffee – The Roast – Resources
  6. The Surprising Advantage Of Gratitude – Leadership
  7. Book Review: Invitation To Philippians by Donald R. Sunukjian – Reviews

My favorite post from December was the post New Every Morning, which focused on looking into the new year with hope and encouragement.

As you enter into the new year, may each morning be new and fresh, and may you seek to follow Christ with each moment!
